Electronic Image was honored to contribute retouching for a Dior editorial photographed by Grace Ahlbom. Shot on film, the images required a highly considered approach that balanced precise control of color and skin tone with a sensitivity to the grain, texture, and tonal depth inherent to analog photography.

Our work focused on preserving the emotional register and classic elegance associated with Dior, ensuring that color relationships and skin tones aligned seamlessly with the brand’s visual language. Through restrained, detail-oriented retouching, the images maintain their photographic integrity while reinforcing Dior’s timeless, refined aesthetic—allowing both the photographer’s voice and the brand’s identity to remain fully present.
